Hello. This is my web site.

Web Marketing, Web Product Development, Search, Web Community, Social Media, Usability... these are the main things that interest me.

I started on the web in the last decade of the 20th century helping a band of guerilla developers defy authority and create a web search engine.

We deployed their work in Physicians Home Page, the first community site for physicians. It provided access to current medical research. One day we got a phone call from a doctor who was accessing the site while in the delivery room.

It made me think that the web might become commonplace.

By integrating Physicians Home Page with Cold Fusion and other technologies, we were able to do all sorts of things that today seem mundane but in 1995 were cutting edge: ecommerce, full-text delivery, multimedia...

Today, I work as part of the online team for TechWeb, runner of some of the most respected and consumed media brands in the business technology market. You will certainly recognize some of them: InformationWeek, Interop, Black Hat, Web 2.0... I help create web products that are successful from both a user and business perspective.
