People from Twitter! Thank you for taking a moment to assess me!

I know what this big question on your mind is. Is he Follow-worthy? Well, that's a question you're just going to have to answer for yourself. Here, I'll present the evidence and let you be the judge.

Professionally

The first thing you probably want to know is what I do for a living. I currently work on the web business for TechWeb, an extremely innovative media company that runs many of the enterprise-focused technology brands you know: InformationWeek, Interop, Black Hat, etc. I work on SEO and Business Development for about 15 sites.

Previously, I spent 2+ years as Director of Online for United Business Media's US-based healthcare publishing division, known as CMPMedica. I helped launch and relaunch a series of sites and brands, moved the entire organization to a new content management platform.

Even before that, I was Director of Online Marketing for the previous TechWeb organization, a job which involved creating new products for advertisers and users. I created the Dogear Peelback ad, which has since been pirated by thousands of web sites. I also created about a dozen other unique products that helped the organization make lots of money.

In earlier iterations, I worked for the following companies: SilverPlatter, Books24x7, MediaMap.

Extra-professionally

Back in the late 90's, I got involved with a development program called Cold Fusion and I've been avidly concocting projects since. A few are listed there on the left of this page. The newest one that I'm working on is Tweetcooker, a site that creates widget for Twitter feeds. I haven't found anything quite like it because it allows you to create a widget based on a series of parameters. There's a twitter widget created by Tweetcooker right on this page. See if you can find it!

Personally

I have lived in Boston for many years except for a great year I spent in Southern California. I grew up in Latin America in Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil. I have no personal life except for this: I am a mac-convert.
